The Stalls

This is a background to a picture I'm working on at the moment, but I thought it might be a good idea to upload it individually, since it gives you an idea as to what the stalls look like!

When Marianne moved in, a lot of the wood was starting to rot or eaten by termites, and the stall doors had holes in them, some of the panels were broken, and so on. So they kept the shell and the layout of the building, replaced the wood and the iron, and made all new box stalls! After the first few hours, Marianne was not allowed to help. It was clear she knew nothing about power tools or building. So the boys took over, and she was charged with the very menial task of repainting the walls. She finished that fairly quickly, as you can probably guess, and sat around bored for a couple hours, expelled to her corner, not allowed to do anything. On the second day of stall-building duty, after the second stall was chucked up, she decided to make herself busy and began to paint the stall doors and walls facing the aisles. Malachi was not pleased; it made the stable look juvenile and unprofessional. Chris and his father put him right fairly quickly though, reminding him that paint was far better than a nail gun. So they left her to her own devices, and now their stable looks like a kindergarden classroom.

As you may or may not have guessed, the paintings-ish were based on the tower in Tangled! I probably should have spent more time on them, but meh. If you ever find yourself having to draw the inside of our stable, feel free to completely randomise any and all designs, or just leave them out completely xD I understand! lol!
